Monogram
The Valencia College Monogram was created to provide a recognizable mark for use when one of our logos doesn’t quite work—on apparel, promotional products and other similar items.
Primary Monogram
In full color, the Primary Monogram sort of looks familiar, right? That’s the idea. Oh, and let’s try to use this version first, okay? If not, take a look at the Secondary Monogram.

Secondary Monogram
Maybe this version without the red box works better on a hat or a pen? That’s what it’s here for—a little bit reserved, but a lot of flexibility.
Color
You see the familiar Valencia College Red and Yellow, but what about other options? We’ve got you covered—the monogram is also available as a one-color version.
NOTE: One-color versions have just a little more space between the “V” and “C” to
make it easier to read when printed in one-color. 
Clear Space
To preserve the integrity of the monogram, keep some space around it—this helps to isolate the monogram from competing elements such as text and other graphics.Clear space is equal to the width/height of the monogram, all the way around.
Size
Let’s use the monogram no smaller than 3/4” in width.
Steer Clear of Incorrect Use
Let’s not recreate or typeset the monogram—it’s a custom drawn graphic. Don’t change the colors, it could create confusion for our students. It works best when used over white (preferred) or a contrasting color, and avoid busy backgrounds.
